Like a sweet song of a choir
And you light my morning sky
With burning love..."

Those Were The Days...

So, I have been reminiscing about Arkansas a lot lately. No, not the fond (yeah right) memories of Wal-Mart, the continuous construction in Centerton, feeling landlocked, being 12 hrs from Atlanta, the terrible drivers on I-540 and semi-okay shopping. I mean, I miss my life and my friends. It's crazy how when you are clawing at the door to get out, you remember how good you had it and how happy you actually were. There were great times, a lot happened during my residency there, life changing moments, if you will. They shaped me into who I am today and for that, I'm thankful. I had (still have) a ton of friends there, either through when I first moved there, to work friends, school friends, friends through Jim, friends through friends or rando friends, I miss them all. It's so crazy now because my bff Emily is moving back after being gone for two years in South Carolina and it makes me miss it more and our girl pack. I miss my Fun-Size, she will always have a large chunk of my heart. We caused chaos (meaning well of course) and went through a lot together. I miss my Holly aka Steph. She is my rock and sounding board on everything. I am missing on her children growing up and it kills me. I remember the days before Ella entered this world. Regardless, these are the friends that know me and love Lucy, that means everything. Love you all. xo

Sarah Abigail Evans (now Varnon) Wedding

Sooo, I finally got the chance to witness my best friend's wedding on the 19th of May. 400+ in attendance. We have been bff's (slang middle school term) since seventh grade. So basically, we have been through a lot (not even going to touch on that). Anywho, it was held at the Atlanta History Center in Buckhead and it was magical (putting it lightly). All of our crew (plus their husbands) were in attendance, it was so great to all be back together and causing chaos! I am so happy for the both of them and they set such a great example of how couples should be. I first met Alan, with the bf at the time, at Sarah England's engagement party in December '10, fell instantly in love with him and knew he was a keeper! I couldn't be happier for the both of them...Mazel Tov!

To sum it up...

“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”
― Marilyn Monroe

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
- Marilyn Monroe

“I am good, but not an angel. I do sin, but I am not the devil. I am just a small girl in a big world trying to find someone to love.”
― Marilyn Monroe

“Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.”
― Marilyn Monroe

About RWW...

Well, it's been quite a journey, that thirty year journey to be truthful. I am a mom to a two year old named Lucy-Grace, a daughter, a friend, a teacher, a hairstylist, a sister...you get the point! I am from MS/GA (I claim both bc I spend most of my life in both states) and I now currently reside in Nashville (up in the air how much longer I'll be here). I'm a gypsy (of sorts), a free spirit, a lover of art (hell, anything that has to do with art), I appreciate my family, LOVE my vast amount of friends and would do anything for them, I love classical music (funny, I know!), reading, love and being in love, being exposed to everything, helping others, I have a HUGE heart and still looking for my perfect fit that has the same dreams/goals/love that I do, I love traveling (need to see a beach in my future, I love hydrangeas and peonies, I enjoy a glass of wine or scotch (on the rocks) occasionally, I love the outdoors and all that pertains to that, love Ole Miss football and olives (only true friends bring you olives instead of flowers...you know who you are). It's been a bumpy ride, but getting calmer as everyday goes by. I have made monumental mistakes in my past, that's why they call it the past not present, and I have learned from them and have grown into the person I am today. I have the best friends anyone could ask for, I still am quite close to all of my middle school/high school/college friends, I value their opinions and friendships greatly. I have yet to be "lucky in love", but I am certainly taking a new route to ensure that it's about to change for the better. I love life, want to share it with someone and my friends and I don't take a day for granted.

Great Friends Are Worth More Than Gold.

So, throughout this entire moving debacle, I have made some AMAZING friends! They are like my family and genuinely care about Lucy and I, and we do in turn! I don't know what I would do without them and their friendships...and wine nights!

"Hi, I'm Earth, have we met?"

So, I'm a bit late on updating any of this, so I'll start now, seeing I'm on vacation. Let's begin with the fact that Lucy-Grace and I moved to Nashville in late October. Yes, we did it (I know many of you are still in shock that we have made it this long, but NY resolution was not to run) and it's going great! We have a very eclectic place and it's lots of fun (pics soon) and very "Robin-esque". Lots of art, pictures, a variety of colors and patterns and leopard! We are enjoying Nashville, for the most part, even though it did not play out the way I had hoped. Oh well, you live and you learn! I'll touch on all of this in individual topics!
